We’re in love with Brooke Creef’s “Terminus” design. Little ATL fact: Western and Atlantic Railroad wanted to make Decatur their southernmost stop on the line they were building in the 1830s. Decatur’s citizens protested a major terminal, citing that it would bring pollution and traffic from travelers, hobos and scamps. In response, the railroad Decatur and founded a new city to the south west called Terminus–a city that would later become Atlanta. Brooke’s design celebrates the birth of our city, and *BONUS* can also serve as a conversation piece on a terribly awkward blind date.
